Stakeholder Portals

Each group of Vizor Stakeholders logs on to a Portal that presents them with ergonomically organized actions, priorities and notifications. Portals are designed ground-up to be intuitive and demand no special IT awareness.

HR and other Connections

Vizor implementations always include opportunities to interoperate and share data with other functions. Connections can be built to automate processes, standardize information and avoid duplication of data. Human Resources is a good example; the reconciliation of user data between Vizor, HR systems and AD is a high priority for many organizations. The Vizor platform features action-enabling reports, such as employees that exist in the HR system but not in AD, employees that exist in AD but not in the HR system, etc.

Configurable Workflows

The Vizor platform is configurable to reflect the way your organization works. A Vizor implementation may stimulate a re-assessment and streamlining of workflows and methods, but that is a bonus, not a requirement.

Team Working

Many functions in resource provisioning may be handled by several people, either through specialization or simply because workload demands a team of people. Vizor is configurable to distribute action requests to individuals according to rules on the details of the actions and their priorities.

Escalation

Escalation adds another dimension to workflow. It provides the ability to define time-based and event-based «If X then Y» actions. These actions include the ability to raise priorities and notify senior staff on potential missed deadlines. It’s no use waiting until a deadline has been missed to flag up an activity overrun.

A/D Integration

The Vizor platform reads and exploits A/D data such as Users and Organizational Units (OUs), for example in performing reconciliation with data held in Human Resources. It is particularly important to automatically reconcile User information held separately in AD, HR and the Vizor database.

Automated Email Processing

Email is a powerful mechanism for implementing the collaboration and workflow of resource provisioning activities. Vizor’s automated email processing routes messages, assigns priorities and creates responses by analysis of message header and content. Vizor readily works with mailboxes on multiple email servers, often found in larger and dispersed organizations.
