Vector Networks Hosts Its First Business & Tech Conference in Montreal

This year’s focus is Artificial Intelligence and working together

October 15, 2018 (Montreal, Quebec) – Vector Networks today announced the first edition of the IT Vision Conference taking place at Palais des congrès de Montréal on November 9th later this year.

With the goal of helping organizations better prepare for the emerging technology, Vector Networks decided to create a conference for those who will be most affected by the changes – IT professionals, tech enthusiasts and business founders. This years’ focus is Artificial Intelligence.

Vector Networks wanted to be better prepare for the customers wanting advanced technological solutions. After not finding a conference in the AI hub of the world that met these criteria, the team decided to take it upon themselves to continue the important conversations regarding how organizations can better prepare.

“There is a lack of communication between the business world and the AI world,” Events Coordinator, Laura Lepore, suggested “Organizations do not understand how emerging technology can help them. And those in technology do not know how to justify their value to employers or justify the costs of new projects to upper management. IT Vision was created to help bridge that gap and to continue conversations past the point of just an ideology.”

The one-day event features presentations from AI scientists, researchers, professors and business founders. They will discuss topics including how to align technology strategy with business strategy, overcoming challenges of introducing new technology in a conservative organization and more. Only $80 a ticket, it was priced so entire teams can benefit from the conference. It also includes a meal, a snack and beverages.

“Conferences cost as much as a luxurious vacation these days,” Laura Lepore continued, “Obtaining knowledge shouldn’t be so expensive. Not only is IT Vision affordable but there are no speakers trying to sell a product or service – it’s all value-driven.”
