Vector PC-Duo Remote Control v9 enhances PC-Duo’s position as a market leading remote PC management tool by including full compatibility with Linux and the Pocket PC platforms to complement its existing Windows and Macintosh support.

Other new features for Vector PC-Duo Remote Control v9.0

• System Snapshot with Dynamic PC Compare - the new dynamic compare function enables Control users to identify differences between Client systems configurations – a valuable tool when diagnosing problems.
• Updated Control Interface - Thumbnails enable Control users to see a reduced-scale version of the screens of all connected Clients – valuable when monitoring multiple servers.
• Whiteboard - extends the Chat function by enabling users to communicate with graphics as well as text.
• Replay - recordings can be played back on any Control or Client PC, enabling support staff to create a library of recordings that can be used to demonstrate new software and to answer frequently asked questions.
• Active Directory Authentication - extends support for collection and use of Active Directory data. Windows Clients can now be configured to validate the user credentials of Controls attempting to make a connection against the Active Directory settings of Clients.
