Heavy Industrial Leader in Portugal Expands its Investment in Vector’s Software Asset Optimization Technology

January 24th Atlanta GA, Montreal and Birmingham UK — Vector Networks Europe announces the supply of another 1,000 licenses of IT Asset Manager Pro to Portuguese engineering company EFACEC.

EFACEC (www.efacec.com) is a major global player in electrical power transmission technology. Headquartered in Portugal, and with $1.3bn revenues generated by 4,500 employees, EFACEC has presence in 46 countries. Effective January 2012, EFACEC have expanded their investment in Vector’s IT Asset Management technology from 2,500 to 3,500 licenses, and at the same time adopted the Software Metering (Software Usage Measurement) module.

The v6.0 release also expanded the Web-based Reporting, including the reporting of Microsoft OS and Server license keys, and supports integration with Vector’s License Manager Pro and Change Manager Pro solutions.
