Vector Networks Europe to Act as Master Distributor and Integrator of Vector Software Solutions
September 7, 2009 — Atlanta, Montreal, and Birmingham (UK) — Vector Networks announces the formation of a new wholly owned subsidiary Vector Networks Europe Ltd to act as master distributor and integrator for the Vector Networks range of IT Asset Management, IT Support, PC Configuration Management and Business Issue Tracking software solutions.
Steve Knowles, acting CEO at Vector Networks Technologies Ltd explained – “We have had a great relationship with the Vector products team at Virtual Network Partners, and we value their expertise in our products very highly. At the same time, we wanted to ramp up the development of an EMEA reseller network, and so we have arranged with Virtual to absorb the Vector products team into a new wholly owned subsidiary so we can better resource and drive the activity of sales and channel development throughout Europe.”
Kevin Kiley, VP Business Development of Atlanta based Vector Networks Inc, notes “With the Europe team under the Vector group umbrella, it will be easier to share information and insight into the positioning of Vector products in today's rapidly evolving market. This will help greatly in pursuing our priority of developing the new reseller network. Some of the innovations developed by this team, such as their hosted approach to the evaluation of our software asset management products, will also be valuable for resellers.”
As an independently managed subsidiary, Vector Networks Europe will also be free to handle other complementary products and seek out new value-add integration opportunities in its region. Transfer of operations from Virtual Network Partners to Vector Networks Europe was completed September 1st.
