Double-digit growth underlines value of Vector Networks' IT Management Solutions family

January 12th, 2009 — Atlanta and Montreal — In a snapshot review of its IT Asset and Service Management solutions, Vector Networks Inc is able to report 20+% year on year growth in Q4 retail sales value for its North and Central American markets.

Kevin Kiley, VP Sales and Business Development – “We were expecting a tough six months from July to December as uncertainties about the global economic situation spawned a ‘wait and see’ attitude to new IT projects. Although we did see some projects postponed in the Fourth Quarter of 2008 while organizations re–evaluate their forecasts, maintenance renewals have been solid and we’ve seen existing installations expanded. Additionally, the average size of our new installations has continued to grow during this period.”

Kiley concludes, “With the market's increasing emphasis on integration between asset and service management functions, and continuing interest in our RFID–based asset location tracking, I think we are well placed to continue sales and profit growth even through these turbulent times. This is one time when our lack of dependence on any market verticals such as the financial sector is a real boon.”

At the same time, new content has been added to describe the Components in more detail than before. This two-tier approach allows Solutions descriptions to be kept brief, focussing on business issues and the key deliverables of each Solution.
