Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and develop Web software modules.
• Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
• Lead a team of developers.
• Define and maintain schedules of his/her projects.
• Lead and be actively involved in the design, architecture and development of the solutions.
• Perform technical reviews of design, architecture and code.
• Ensure follow-up of projects and productions of various planned deliverables within the set deadlines.
• Confer with users and staff members to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications to existing programs.
• Write and maintain programming documentation.
• Take part in defining future enhancements, new products, products’ functional specifications and design documents.
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
• Communicate adequately with other groups such as Technical Services, Sales and Marketing.
• Engage with the QA process to review and validate certain development stages.
• Work with the rest of the technical team to resolve customer reported problems.
• Consistently deliver superior technical solutions to customers.
• Act as an expert resource and help his/her group members work on their projects.
• Organize tasks and set priorities.
• Occasionally demonstrate the products to customers and internal staff, as well as provide advanced training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Has knowledge of Web and Windows architectures.
• Has advanced knowledge of programming languages such as C#, HTML, JavaScript, ASP, CSS, etc.
• Able to develop programs for databases and platforms such as SQL Server and IIS.
• Is self-motivated, an independent thinker, and has the initiative to continue learning.
• Attention to detail.
• Good project management skills.
• Knowledge of IT Asset and Service Management technologies is an asset.
